Really good Pad Thai. The bonus, is the size of their portion, so worth it.

So good!! Got take out here and it was amazing. So glad we have some good Thai and Cambodian food in the area now

UPDATED REVIEW Unfortunately have to downgrade because our last order was disappointing. The pad thai tasted washed out, lacking the key notes of piquancy like a store-bought boxed version. Could have used more tamarind and lime. The egg seemed to be missing entirely. Green papaya salad suffered from the same deficit. Needed a splash more fish sauce or something. As before, the base was about half lettuce (iceberg this time) which probably should be noted in the description. The roti and my partners pad kee mow were average. Portion sizes still ample. I will give them another try and hope they can regain their qualityORIGINAL REVIEW (5 stars) I was skeptical about yet another restaurant in this ancient Taco Bell but happy to be wrong. Everything was super tasty, nothing too sweet like at some swankier Thai places that fail to control their flavors. Big portion sizes and all was prepared according to my specifications. That last part is key because they have a flexible menu: not only can you choose your protein, you can add a variety of veggies to your dish. I ordered chicken pad thai with eggplant and carrots, pork green curry with broccoli and bell pepper, and green papaya saladno protein. Note: the salad base wasnt all papaya. It was about half romaine which tasted fine so I was ok with it, and no icky parboiled green beans that are typically included (even better). Chopped peanuts came on the side. I hope Tommys Asia manages to stick around because I intend to try more!
