Please - If you are considering a SMALL and PERSONAL care home that will LISTEN to your loved one's needs and work with you for the best life quality and care....look no further. I moved my very elderly Mom (102 yrs) to this wonderful Care Home from a very large well-known Senior Care facility 3 months ago. If I had known about it, I would have done it a year ago. This is a wonderful, small home (one of three operated by a local family) with exceptional, one-on-one help for my Mom. Each resident--there are 6 at this home-are treated with respect, love, and given individual, personal attention, depending on each resident's needs. I strongly recommend that families look into this company-they have 3 different homes depending on the type of care needed. It is not easy taking care of elderly loved-ones with all of their special needs. All of their employees are consummate professionals--some have been there for many, many years. I am so lucky to have found this place for my Mom. Jean  L

If I could give 100 stars to All About Seniors, I would! My mother stayed here a few years ago, and my dad is still in independent living with an agency that sends caregivers for a couple hours a day, but I'll be trying to move him here when the time comes and he needs more assistance. This is truly a lovely little care home for seniors, wouldn't even know it from passing by. They had their priorities straight when it came to my mother, which is most important. One of my friends whose mother lived there before, told me about it. Only problem for me was it was a bit far from me in Sunnyvale, but worth the little commute to have my mom in a place where I felt I could trust the staff and owners. Neighborhood/street is quiet, staff are easy to talk to, and it was much more affordable than the "memory care" facility my mother was in before. Plus the staff are the same people every day, which is better because I was able to develop a rapport. They were way more on top of things than the big dementia care unit ever was, and my mom had a good time at All About Seniors her last couple of years of life. It was much more like she was in her own home again, rather than in a big facility.

Nearly a year ago my Mom's care home (which she loved) was sold without notice.  I had to quickly find a home for Mom that she would like as well.  It was my good fortune that Pat, Debbie and Kendall had an opening at All About Seniors at 1474 Pompey Dr.  After moving in Mom would often ask how I found this place - she liked her room better than where she was before because her room was so big, bright and cheery - and even had a private restroom!  She loved Nelly, Annabelle, and her other care givers - she felt their love every day.  The meals Nelly cooked were so good . . . (she would give me a taste every now & then - yum, yum!)  Because she was legally blind, Mom had trouble participating in their many activities, but although she couldn't color or read, she definitely could listen to the many musicians that came to entertain them, and Mom would tell me how wonderful it was that they played music she knew.  The fact they only had six rooms made it easier for Mom to navigate the house with her limited vision.  The handrails in the halls were another excellent feature that made it easy for Mom to use her walker to walk to her room.  I used to visit my Mom most days of the week and can vouch for the excellent care that was provided 7 days a week.  Whenever there was a problem with Mom's health, I would get an immediate phone call advising me of the situation.  I never had to worry because I knew she was being closely cared for.  I recently lost my Mom to a massive stroke, but if I personally needed a care home, this place would be at the top of my list.
