What a great experience in spite of a horrible situation! When mold was found growing on the inside walls of the bedrooms of our house, I went to Google and Yelp for reviews of mold remediation companies. So glad I contacted Reactic Restoration! I was set up with an appointment right away and sent reminders as the date and time approached. When the day came and their original estimator was going to be delayed, they called to ask if another time/date would work. As we were on a tight schedule, I advised that we really needed to hold this schedule and they made it happen. Idan came out to the house, on time, and went through the affected rooms. He took moisture readings of the hardwood floors (covered by carpet), showed me how they were soaked and would definitely need to be removed, at least in part of the room. He used infrared imaging of the walls to relieve my fears, this was not caused by a leak from above. He then inspected the crawl space to confirm, as we expected, that the moisture was coming up from below the house. He explained the remediation process and timing, advised that we needed an asbestos test before we began any wall disturbance/removal, and we could move quickly to get a crew and dry-out equipment on site fast. He provided a written estimate/quote quickly and was ready to move as soon as we were. We completed the paperwork and Idan and his team got to work. Each day we received an appointment confirmation for the next morning's crew, and they arrived on time and worked professionally, covering all surfaces leading to the rooms, and sealing the affected rooms behind them as they performed each step of the process. Updated photos were provided as the project progressed, showing the findings inside the walls/under the floors, and then the mitigation once it was cleaned and treated. No unaffected walls or flooring were removed once their removal found that the mold had not spread past a certain point (interior walls were good). Performing a thorough inspection up front, Idan was able to stick to the price quoted until additional mold was located in the attic once one room's ceiling was removed. Idan put me at ease as he explained that his crew could handle all additional remediation of that area as well, and at a reasonable price- no "gotcha" costs once they were deep into the project. All in all the project was a success as it stayed on target for both timing and budget. Treated areas in the walls, floors, crawl space and attic were all documented and provided to me, and the work was completed with the least amount of disruption, noise and mess. Idan's excellent communication and availability to answer questions and concerns went together with his honest and complete assessment of the issues, remediation steps and timeline. Mold is not something I'd ever want to have to face in my home again, but there is no doubt that if I do, I'll be calling Idan and his team to handle it!

My family had major moisture and mold issues under our house in Oakland. Daniel, the Project Manager, walked us through options and helped us take our time to make the best decision based on what was needed and what we could afford at the moment. We ended up getting mold remediation and crawlspace encapsulation and the humidity level went from 95% to 65% which was huge! Noe and Yobany did good work with the encapsulation, sealing all edges and really transforming the crawlspace. Stellar. Daniel Garza (project manager) was informative, thoughtful, friendly, listened well and helped me connect with HVAC cleaning company for initial steps in remediating the Aspergillous in my home (I am recovering from aspergillosis in my lungs). Because I'm at risk for infection I requested a deep clean of my home by Reactic Restoration which included air scrubbing. Daniel was able to arrange this for the day following the HVAC clean. The workers were prompt and thorough and careful in their work. I appreciate this whole team. I am feeling more confident that I can live more healthily in my home.

I highly recommend Reactic Restoration. They do what they say they're going to do! On time, professional, friendly, clean, honest and with great prices. There's many restoration companies out there, but not all can deliver superb customer service. That is what I experienced with Mike Guerrero with Reactic Restoration. He explained to me what their entire operation would be with great detail. He reassured me that they will go above and beyond to make me 100% satisfied. Sure enough he was spot on. Mike Guerrero will definitely be the person I contact again.
