J & G Upholstery is excellent. We had a sofa recovered as well as 2 chairs. These resulted in beautiful work. J & G (husband and wife) are delightful to work with. I highly recommend.

We needed to have our sectional couch re-covered and found J&G upholstery. The reviews that we read were consistently glowing and now we know why. Ginn is a joy to work with and was very informative in helping us pick the fabric. Ginn and James provide the kind of quality workmanship that is rarely seen nowadays. In fact, its more like an art. And they charge what we feel is a more than fair price for what they do. We absolutely love the work they performed on our couch and like it even more than the original.
As a disclaimer, you will be placed on a list to have your furniture worked on (that is how much in demand their services are) but we felt it was well worth the wait.

True artistry and kind, friendly service. This husband and wife team have to be some of the last true skilled artisans in San Francisco. What a find, so glad I trusted my Italian couches to them. They are better than new!

Definitely wanted a change in my new place. Gin was sooo nice and accommodating. She is very kind! We looked at many fabric books and as we chatted, it was like we had known each other for a bit. Great service with kindness!
