Ive been working with a Partner called Emerson Dubois for several years now and am amazed at what a life enhancing decision it was to hire Andersen. They are the best at what they do which is helping Founders & Investors optimize their taxes no matter how complex the picture may look. Trust me, Ive thrown every scenario and problem you can imagine at their team including QSBS, changing residency, opportunity zones, PFIC issues with foreign startups, charitable foundations, wash sales, estate planning etc. Highly recommend - a great accountant is key to wealth management.

In 2021, I was quoted between $5-$7k to prepare my quarterly estimated taxes and my 2022 return. As of this writing, I've been billed over $30k, more than 5x what I was quoted. I'm a W2 worker with very standard tax considerations. While there were additional billable hours consulting with Andersen, they don't account for this discrepancy. When politely inquiring why this quote was so off, I was promptly fired as a client. While I believe the services rendered are accurate, the lack of transparency and communication around billing make this a firm I can't recommend doing business with.
