Found Alan on home advisor. After having him over to see the work which was a 5 story sf house he was able to give me a written quote and stayed on budget. He did a great job and completed in less time than originally thought. Overall I would recommend Alan to anyone who needs there siding replaced and the job looks challenging.

Had a great experience with Alan Siding & Windows! I had a complicated vinyl siding installation in the light well of my 3-story building that included a lot of utility pipes, drain pipes, and air vents. I met with a few contractors about the project, and Alan was the only one who took notice of particular issues specific to my building and suggested solutions to them. His pricing was competitive, and he visited the job site regularly to check on the progress. Alan's installer Brian did an amazing job of working around all the pipes, windows, and vents. He came up with some creative solutions that made the installation not only professional and watertight but beautiful. Highly recommended. Five stars for Alan Siding & Windows!

We did not ultimately decide to replace our siding but Alan could not have been more helpful and professional! Thanks to him, we were able to make a more cost-effective decision, and his advice was invaluable as we have gone through this process. Can't recommend him highly enough!

From the first time we met Alan, to our final sign off on the completed work, we knew we had a siding contractor with many years of experience who was honest, up-front and real with us. Alan let us know how he was going to do the work, why he was doing the work that way, accommodated our needs, and gave us his best work 'team' to do the job. And the 'team' was a one-man powerhouse named Brian, who soloed through our tear off and re-siding in 7 days, and it is beautiful. Brian went up and down ladders removing all our old siding, pulling out innumerable nails, wrapping and re-siding our house, fabricating trim, and laying down a clean line of calking around every door and window. Brian was hard-working, pleasant and kept an eye to detail that we very much appreciate in the final product. Alan was there to answer every question in detail and to make sure the job met the quality standards of his company. Alan also gave us a very reasonable quote using quality materials, and he backs up his work. He provides free consulting for the life of the job if there are any problems, or anything needs to be done in the future, such as additional exterior details which would entail going through the siding, to make sure it is done in a way which preserves the value of our investment. Alan provided plenty of examples of his commitment and that provided us confidence in using his services. Highly recommended.
Btw, the missing light fixture in the picture is all us. My wife had not yet picked a replacement.

I had alan siding cover four walls on my 98 year old house with vinyl siding which was finished today..looks awesome..job was done incredibly fast..the materials are all high quality...the fit and finish of vinyl looks better than the original for sure. alan and Brian added alot more years to these walls..i am a repeat customer..over 10 years ago I had alan put vinyl siding,new windows and new doors on 2 houses in San Francisco...both job where also done as well as todays. and both still look great..shows me consistency in quality in a contractor that you just can't find often now..not to mention how hard job the Monterey blvd job was..as that hill multiplied that jobs complexity..and on the 98 year old house many 98 year old suprises popped up and where dealt with fast..so if you need siding..i say call alan..i will...one suggestion..i would take a picture or draw,a diagram of your project and label what work you want where so as to save words
