We had an interaction with Jeanne Zimmerman at McGuire that was extremely unprofessional and left a bad taste. We had viewed a rental unit with McGuire and put in an application. After our application was approved, we requested a draft lease for review. Less than 24 hours of receiving it, we let Jeanne know that we would not be moving forward. Rather than ask us if we would mind sharing what contributed to our decision, she guilt-tripped us saying that they'd turned away other parties and accused us of "casting a wide net". When we didn't respond to her first email within 4 hours, in the middle of a work day, she emailed us yet again and doubled down on her approach, further attempting to guilt us into a response by letting us know they had spent "a lot of time drawing up the documents" and to please write back. We were shocked by the lack of professionalism, and we won't be doing business with McGuire in the future as a result. We would have likely responded, at our convenience, if her approach had been more professional rather than accusatory and demanding.
