The founder / editor-in-chief is extremely unprofessional, rude and abusive. He contacted our firm for services then responded with insults when we replied (see photo). This is not a one-time occurrence multiple reviews (dating 15+ years back) across Glassdoor, Google & Yelp attest to his unpredictable temperament & frequently offensive correspondence. This kind of behavior has no place in the industry.

Was amazed when I initially reached out to the publisher and received a response because I'd idolized and aspired to be in the magazine since I was 12 years old. The publisher gave me incredible opportunities to interview, write and edit in the Influencers section, which enabled me to cover some of the most impactful, thoughtful, gift and hardworking women I know in tech, art and fashion including reporter Aarti Shahani and designer Maya Reik. I appreciated that I was given ample space to be creative in my writing and each piece was supported with incredible imagery from top tier photographers. I appreciate the publisher for letting me skyrocket opportunities in my career as an editor and journalist.

SOMA Magazine is a true gem! It's simplicity and raw authenticity captures the essence of what art and culture is, in all it's magnificent forms and variations. You will not find another publication out there like it. Ali's energy and passion is undeniable. He is a true advocate - kind, bright, and eager to help. Thank you Ali, for your dedication and contributions to the Arts!
