Dr. Ronald Albucher was by far the worst psychiatrist I have ever seen/had. Hes friendly on the surface, however he did multiple things wrong with my treatment. We switched medication and the one he put me on just made me 1000x worse. I kept telling him the symptoms I was experiencing, and he never even bothered to change the medication, dosage etc. I was the most depressed I have ever been for over a year, and the wrong medication played a major role in that. At my first session with him in person, he asked me how I would murder one of my parents. I kept saying I felt uncomfortable with this particular exercise, he pushed me to complete it to see if I was a good candidate for Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), which I never inquired about. He also victim blamed me for certain things I brought up.
After a year of not improving etc., he gave me an ultimatum. I immediately parted ways with him. My new psychiatrist has SAVED MY LIFE. Simply switching that one medication has made a MAJOR difference. I do not recommend.
