Our son had a difficult time at LFSF due to his learning differences. The school was great in working with us but after 11 months, we decided it wasn't what was best for our son. It was a very difficult and emotional decision for us because they have so many amazing experiences to offer children. Our son was in their TK (MS) and Kindergarten (GS) program. They offered music, gymnastics, games, painting, trips to the schools library, parental involvement was some of the highest we've seen in any program our son's been a part of. The after school programs offered for kids starting in kindergarten was unmatched, Judo, Basketball, Tennis, Fencing, Cooking, Science programs, Piano, Guitar, ceramics, the list was very comprehensive and exciting that as a parent this was all brought to us.I would recommend children having some French exposure to help with the transition but it's not required by MS/GS grades. The staff is warm, welcoming and the teachers were kind hearted and loved the children. All in all, 10/10 we only wish it would have worked out for our son.

Can't speak to how any individual family might experience this school, but for my two kids it's been a dream. Covid was awful, and this was the one institution that took the job of continuing to care for our children during that time seriously so that we could do our jobs. I am not a French speaker, and have felt warmly welcomed by all the staff. The classes are very multicultural, with kids from all over (Latin America, Europe, the Middle East), and our children are learning to speak French expertly. FUndamentally they want to make things work, and try hard to do so. I have been so pleasantly surprised.

Reading through the 1 star reviews and feeling their pain. The school is very white. Administration do not listen or care. My nephew (biracial) was bullied by white kids. He was told his skin is the color of poop. They made fun of him when he shared his chinese name during Chinese New Year lessons. When the issue was brought to the attention of administration, my sister was told they (the white kids) are just being kids. There's a real big issue of racism. Many parents have similar experience and have removed their kid from this toxic environment.

Awesome school with a dedicated staff, a director going the extra mile in communication with the classroom parents, people from all origins and very safe COVID-19 protocols. My daughter went from 0 French to bilingual is less than a year and loves all the art & craft, physical education and so on. Their summer camps are great too!
