Happy Angels Preschool & Childcare

Happy Angels Preschool & Childcare is a great place for a child to learn and grow. My daughter has been attending this daycare since she was 2yrs old, and now she is 4. She looks forward to being at daycare, and is happy to see her teacher and friends at daycare everyday.

We started our son at Happy Angels when he was 6 months old. As first time parents we weren't sure what to expect and were nervous dropping him off. Well fast forward to now and he is thriving and so happy to be dropped off every morning to play with his friends. It is such a good feeling to see him working on projects and participating in the various activities they offer for the kids. The photos and videos Angel sends are the highlight of our day. We have also been very impressed with how clean everything is. Angel also has a great backyard space that includes a garden and lots of space to run around and play. We feel so lucky to have found this daycare in our neighborhood!

We started my daughter at Happy Angels Daycare when we moved to the neighborhood about a year ago. A year later, she has better chinese pronunciation than my husband, and is clearly bilingual with small dips into cantonese (Angel teaches the kiddos Mandarin, Cantonese, and English). We really appreciate that she teaches the kids about the asian culture, and that my daughter is now able to fully interact with her mandarin speaking grandparents. Overall, Angel runs a clean, safe, well-run establishment where the kids learn an impressive curriculum, thrive and are fed snacks and lunch, and all from a home that is a couple blocks walk away. Parents are also given plenty of photos (usually from the previous day), but this allows us to actually see how everything is during the day.

Happy Angels is an excellent preschool. Angel and the other teachers are experienced, patient and caring with the children. They are great educators, with a strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate skill building activities. The school is clean, organized and full of fun activities, toys, puzzles, costumes, and games. They have a huge and beautiful backyard with several playhouses, climbing structures, water-tables, sand-boxes -- everything a child needs for engaging outdoor play. The children get plenty of time outside to run around.The backyard also has lots of plants and even a veggie garden that the children help with. Letting the children experience and learn about the natural world is important to Angel.They also have lots of art time - painting, drawing, constructing and building things with natural objects like leaves and twigs, or using carboard boxes and other fun materials.  When we first came for a tour, our 3-year-old son began pulling every toy out of every box and making a huge mess. I felt a bit embarrassed and started to clean up, but Angel stopped me and said "It's okay, let him explore, he is learning." That pretty much sums it up - they are loving and patient guides that give the children freedom to learn, explore and grow.I highly recommend Happy Angels to anyone looking for exceptional childcare.

We were so anxious when looking for a place for our son to go for daycare. As first time parents we knew what we wanted but didn't know if we would find it. When we toured Happy Angles daycare, we were instantly excited about how clean, friendly, and colorful the place was. With Covid still ever-present in our lives we really appreciated the cleanliness of the daycare and all the protocols Angle explained to us. We are always so happy to see our son and his friends at school via photos. Angle is very prompt in sharing photos and important information with us. My partner and I were very excited to have our son grow up there and be able to do all the fun activities we see the older kids doing. (He still happily joins in, in his own special way.) But we unfortunately have to leave the city and will miss Angle and all the friends our son has made at our warm, welcoming daycare. We hope to find something similar with all the different languages, activities and interactions he gets at Happy Angles daycare. With lots of love,The Godinez Family
