All of the kids in our family from 23 years ago until now have been students of MHOC. The eldest which is now at UCSF medical school and finished Stanford pre med was the first to start our family trend at MHOC. We are now at 4 total kids that have gone to this school, graduated and now top of their classes. When we enrolled our 2 year old daughter in August of 2022, she barely spoke a word. She is now counting to 20using her hands. She knows her ABC's and all of her colors. It's amazing how much she's learned in just a few months. She won't stop talking now and bossing us around.I thank Mr Yasha, Ms. Gladys and Ms Kim so so much for all that they have done. Mr Yasha, is very professional and always with a huge smile. Ms Gladys and Ms Kim are the best teachers. My daughter loves them both so much. I will definitely enroll my son when he turns two. This is no place for you to just drop of your kids for day care. This is an actual school that sets your child up for success!

My now five years old started preschool at MMoH during Covid in 2020. We couldn't be happier and couldn't ask for better school for our kid. He is in Ms Tanja's class and he can't stop talking about his teachers (Ms Tanja and Ms Gladys),  friends and what learns at school everyday. He learns everything from reading, math, art and craft, world map and other practical lives at school. We are very impressed with the Montessori ways of learning. Would definitely recommend the school to everybody.

It's difficult to put to words the deep gratitude, peace of mind and joy that finding Montessori House of Children has brought. After visiting 7 schools, it was clear that MHoC is a standout in this city; outstanding, highly qualified staff to student ratio, individualized and thoughtful approach to transition, perfectly developmentally appropriate curriculum, and leadership that does not miss a beat and sets and lives up to a high bar for quality education where every child truly matters. We had a one week experience at a different school with a 20 child class size and longer hours, and our son was clearly stressed and not thriving. At MHoC, by contrast, our son has bonded remarkably with his teach Mr Anthony, who has helped him to navigate some important challenges learning to socialize with other children not to mention nap, potty, engage, eat and thrive in this new environment. Ms. Corie and Ms. May are also phenomenal teachers, who care deeply - with this experienced and dedicated teaching team our son's development is supported in every moment of this formative time in his life. A big thank you to the MHoC team!

We have been part of the MHOC family for over three years. Our eldest daughter attended the school from the age of 2.5 to nearly 6. She loved all of her teachers from (Ms. Maria Poulson and Ms. Xing in first class) to (Ms. Aisa and Ms. Anndrea in her pre-K class). We now have the pleasure of sending our second daughter this year. Mr Anthony, Ms. Corie, and Ms. May have been amazing with our rambunctious toddler. We love Montessori-based education, as it fosters independence and critical thinking. The faculty and staff are warm, responsive, and caring. Their COVID protocols are second to none. We have felt safe sending both of our daughters there. The school make concerted effort to guide each and every child through transitions from potty-training to classroom transitions. Our eldest daughter graduated from MHOC prepared for elementary school. We have no doubt that our second daughter will be the same.
