Worst experience with a Dr- ever. He appears not to care about his patients - or their health. He wouldn't even inspect suspicious moles. Avoid Dr Panagotacos at all costs!

My 2020, 800 graft procedure with DrPanagatacos was, in his exact words: "anembarrassment to me and my clinic". It is also anembarrassment to me, the patient.See attached photos for results after 2 years. Thephoto with blonde hair was my hairline 1 monthbefore the procedure was done. Which would youprefer? With this as his own review, he then offered to doanother procedure. The price he offered me formy first procedure was 1000$ for thr Artasmachine being used, and 4$ per graft harvestedand transplanted. After we both knew they hadfailed my procedure, he recommended I thenschedule a second surgery with him. However hethen let me know he had done my first procedureat a discount (i had not requested or known of adiscount, and that I'd be paying $8 per graft. That's double the price per graft, to fix a cosmeticsurgery which he failed. He told me that "most people need twoprocedures". I was already well aware that inmany cases this is true. However in mine it is not.I was 27,my hairline had barely begun to moveback, the area that needed treatment wasextremely small in comparison to mosttransplants. To me, this felt like I was beingscammed. This part is why I'm here writing thisreview. As for the results, I have three major issues:1) Most of my grafted follicles died. According tohim at least half of them didI purchased a 1000$ hair growth helmet and useit as instructed, to this day, 2 years later. I alsospent the first year purchasing and using his ownformula of minoxidil and finasteride topical. Ifollowed all aftercare instructions 100% of thetime. I did not expose my head to bright or directsunlight, or heat, for an extremely long time. 1 hadalready been on the hairloss preventionmedication he recommended, for years. What I'msaying is, I did what I was told to do, yet mytransplanted hair is so thin that you can literallysee my thick, original hairline behind it. I have twohairlines.2) The follicles that did not die, produce the mostpubic hair textured. yet weak andbrittle/breakable hair I've ever seen (I'm a hairstylist) and I use absolutely top shelf hairproducts. I'Il mention that as a stylist, who doeswork on clients who have had transplants, mine isby far the biggest failure l've seen.3) My "donor area" has significantly larger scars(less hair available for a future transplant, embarrassing as well) than any other fue/futtransplant I've seen. I was FULLY aware that I'dhave visible scarring, however it's truly excessiveconsidering the 800 graft countl'll attach photos. This is over 2 years post op.

Worst doctors experience of my life. I would give him a negative review. He was it wearing a mask and asked me to remove my mask. Masked are required in medical setting, he did not care. He was incredibly argumentative. He told me I'm doing something wrong when I haven't changed anything in my routine. I have a history of eczema. He just recommended face wash, gave me samples, poured it out in his hands, and poured it back into the bottle. He recommended a cortisone cream and a cortisone shot. I was so scared I didn't know how to respond. He did not was his hands and still gave me a shot. I never filled my prescription and am going to the location on Hyde St recommended.  PLEASE do not see him. He is a terrible doctor, unhygienic, and unsafe.
