We worked with Photography by Emily Payne for our 1 year old cake smash session and it was such an easy, fun experience! She is a natural and her studio is amazing with everything you might need for a session. I am excited to do more family photos with her in the future. A+++. Such a gentle hand with our newborn. She really brought out the best in him. Emily is also a terrific communicator, checking in in a caring way throughout the end of pregnancy and in the days after our boy was born. She is an absolute pleasure to work with, and of course, the images she creates are just beyond. Elegantly simple and artful. She really let our baby shine. Thank you Emily!

My wife and I hired Emily to do two shoots - maternity shoot for her and then a new born shoot for our baby. It was a pleasure to work with her - she is a thorough professional and knows her stuff in and out. She is very creative with her maternity shoots - using different props eloquently to give an elegant feel to it all. For her newborn shoots, she is super amazing - very patient and very gentle. She is very mindful of the baby's emotions and maneuvers her way gently around his sleep. She did an amazing job of taking some beautiful pictures of our baby boy - so much so that we ended up getting the all printed out and framed in our hallways and love how he looks in them. Overall, a great find for us and well worth the travel to her studio from south bay. We are happy customers and will return next time for sure.
