J. Reed Rayher

I think Dr. Rayher is the best oral surgeon in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and gentle. I barely felt a thing at my wisdom tooth extraction. The entire procedure went so smoothly. Also, his team is very friendly and efficient. After the procedure, the office called and followed up with me to make sure that I was doing fine. I would recommend Dr. Rayher to my family and friends. Thank you!

I wanted to write this review because reading other reviews on this page really helped me get the courage to get my wisdom teeth removed after postponing it for 20 years since high school. I got all 4 teeth removed at the same time.  Dr. Rayher and his team are truly excellent at what they do. They made me feel at ease during my procedure. The surgery itself was completely painless (even though I am terrified of needles). They walked me through the full process and made me feel 100% comfortable. I fell asleep after a few seconds with IV sedation. I only took ibuprofen on the first day after surgery. Big thank you to Dr. Rayher and his team for such a positive dental office experience!

Nothing to complain about. I needed a tooth extraction and a bone graft for a problematic tooth. Dr. Rayher's office consulted with me quickly, and were able to get me in for an appointment. General anesthesia and everything went great. I woke up feeling pretty clear headed (yes, I was obviously tired), but my healing process has gone well so far. Liz, the receptionist answered all of my questions and was straightforward about insurance. Dr. Rayher was great, and straightforward about what to expect. I highly recommend this practice.

Simply fantastic. I was able to get an appointment thanks to my regular dentist's referral, and found the entire staff exceptionally competent, from scheduling to billing and insurance to surgery and after care. Dr. Rayher was clear and attentive to every concern as an atypical wisdom tooth patient - about 30 years older than the usual teen patient. I chose to not have general anesthesia and had a quick and smooth procedure. Highly, highly recommend.

Intelligence and titles without depth and heart become meaningless. Thats not Dr. Rayhers case. He has an extraordinary capacity for holding space for you. I decided to push my comfort zone and did a wisdom tooth removal without general anesthesia or happy gas, which turned out to be exactly what I needed. I would even encourage everyone to push yours and explore the fear. Medical trauma, discomfort when giving trustI have no doubts Dr. Rayher will meet you wherever you are. Unexpectedly, deeply healing experience for me beyond dentistry.
