YES. I have the right company. I absolutely do NOT recommend Cross Country Moving Company! They told me given our circumstances (i.e: my husband being in the hospital because he needs two organ transplants) and me moving and being across the country all by myself that they would have my stuff here no later than the 20th of December. The last update I received Thursday morning (the 16th) told me the truck was in Nevada (not that far from Cali) and then it went radio silent. When I called to get more info I was told it would now be the 24th-25th...or possibly later. They took our stuff on the 9th. That's over two weeks. They know my situation and they know I've been without any of my things (including my car because they took that separately.) all while having to travel back and forth to the hospital (because the moment we landed in California on the 13th we had to take him to the hospital and he was admitted.) I even paid extra and had them take our stuff days before we got to Cali in order to make sure everything would be here no later than the 20th. Between the truck going MIA. Being told one thing and paying extra for it. I can't recommend them and I truly wish I went with someone different (but they were rated well....although I can't fathom why at this point.)

The movers themselves were great, worked hard and fast, but I haven't had a good experience with the expectations that were set. For example, I was told that I would be given a delivery date the day the movers picked up my stuff. That turned out to be not true. Not only that, the date range for delivery is from July 15th to July 28th. When you are paying rent in some of these bigger cities, that means you may be paying over 1.5K extra. I paid roughly $5.5K for the move from Seattle to SF. Not sure if this is a good value or not, but I can tell you that they will nickle and dime you for everything you add to your list. 7/24 update: Right now, two items are not working, and my desk is damaged. I did get insurance, so I am waiting to see how they handle the claims. If the process goes smoothly, I will increase my rating. If not, I will go to a 1 star because I paid extra for insurance. For reference, they physically broke my peloton bike while trying to move it (warranty wont cover because of clear physical damage). Other items are Eight sleep bed not working, and pretty strong dent/scratches to my working desk. 8/26 update: Mona, from the customer team, was able to save the day. Overall, I am happy I used Cross Country movers.

Go to a different company. *Edit because the owner says Im not in the database* This place will nickel and dime you. You guys agree that theyll move your whole house for 3500 regardless of weight but somehow swindle you into paying an extra 1500 for the remaining half of your home. I do not recommend at all! Please be careful when dealing with companies like this. Real P.O.S company

Four guys came over on time and worked very hard for over 9 hours to move our 3 bedroom house. They even made a second trip to pick up stuff that didn't fit in the truck the first time around. Excellent team and company.

I was nervous about my cross country move, but they made it so easy and stress free for my family and myself. They knew I was nervous and they put my nerves at ease within minutes of meeting. They went above and beyond to ensure that I knew that my things were in great hands. My stuff arrived perfectly and I couldn't be happier.
