Probably one of the worst living experiences Ive had in my whole entire life. For startersnot worth the money youre paying for. The parking is absolutely terrible and you can hear literally everything thats happening in the building, especially the mice that rampage in the walls. Erston and his cronies are absolutely terrible when it comes to communication. Moving out was a nightmare and they deducted a large portion of our deposit for Godknowswhat. My friend and I lived in the complex on 7th Ave in the Inner Richmond and I can not stress enoughif you value your money, your community, and most importantly, your piece of mind; dont live here. I was a victim of racial profiling by the lady that lived in unit 1 which was across the hall from us. From the start of our lease to the end, Cecil (our elderly neighbor who Im not confidently sure actually lived there) constantly harassed my roommate and I. Not entirely sure if it was because we were young, queer, or because a POC was living across the hall but she was the worst and absolutely disrespectful on multiple occasions. She would call management and blame random things on us and then wed get phone calls from Josh (property manager) saying that someone said we did something we were suppose to and that he didnt have proof but this person said it was us Lastly, Ashleys Cafe across the street is a gem and the only good thing that came out of my experience at this complex.

I would say this company is your standard property mgmt company. They were friendly upon move-in, etc. We didn't have really any issues while we were there with the mgmt. We did get Fiber installed and needed mgmt's approval to do so. The timeframe and ask from us was reasonable for the installation with Sonic (Best ISP ever btw). When we moved out we got charged a bit excessively on the move out (so think paint, etc.)  This seems like a small thing so it's very gray in the rental market on what is right and appropriate. We stood there with their painter and he said the place was pretty much immaculate; better than he'd seen in any other unit. Surprise; we still got charged for random little things. When we moved out the mail got lost as well; this was particularly frustrating. We got the 2nd letter with our security depsoit before we got the 1st letter. That 1st letter was clearly overstuffed and someone tried to open it en-route. I've been asking for a reference letter ever since we moved out a year a go and haven't gotten one. My last landlord shot me a reference letter within 2 hours of me asking...

Toured a unit they had listed, was pretty awful.  The ad was deceiving and the unit was nasty.

I want to preface this by saying I'm not getting anything out of writing this review. I've just had such a great experience with Cournale & Co and wanted to share my experience. I've been living at one of their properties for about a year now and they are a fantastic rental management company. They're very responsive to any issues we ever have. The moment a work order goes in, we hear back from them in a very timely manner. I've lived in some pretty terribly managed buildings before so I'm incredibly appreciative of how attentive C&C is with us.
