Elliot is amazing at what he does. He helped me think through the best options for my yard and where to put the tub. He has a keen sense for not only hot tub models, but overall landscaping/design, construction/permitting, electrical, etc. I truly appreciate his approach, vision, knowledge and skillset. If you have the chance to work with him on a project in San Francisco--do it!

We renovated our house in 2006, and needed landscaping around the our front steps and sidewalk area. Elliot far exceeded our expectations: he wa upbeat and enthusiastic, submitted a professional, reasonable proposal, and created a gorgeous design using unusual, interesting plants. We still get compliments.

We hired Elliot and his crew at Artisans Landscape to help us transform our backyard into a beautiful, low maintenance outdoor living space. From our first meeting to completion of the project, Elliot's expertise and artistry was evident. He and his crew worked tirelessly to install an irrigation system, build custom planter boxes, and plant our chosen vegetation (all recommended by Elliot). We could not be happier with the result and plan to spend lots of time in our new backyard oasis!

We had Elliot come to give us an assessment to start a regular, ongoing landscaping/yard maintenance arrangement. We were quoted $300 for this initial visit - that would include Elliot's time, as well as $75 each for the hourly rate of two gardeners working with him, and a gameplan for ongoing service.Both my husband and I looked at our yard and saw no difference after the hour-long visit, and we received no follow up whatsoever, until around one month later a bill for $470 arrived.

Tried to get into contact with Elliot over the course of two months. Was interested in having a hot tub installed in our backyard in San Francisco. Sent a set of drawings with what we had hoped to receive a quote for. Called three times to follow up with a promise each time I would receive a call back. Each time I was also asked to re-send the email to him. After two months, I receive a text message saying he was looking into my project. That was the last thing I ever heard.... I understand people are busy and maybe this was not a project that they were interested in. It would have been easier to say they were unable to provide a quote, and I would have looked for other companies instead of waiting for a response.
