We used fine root for our gut remodel and we couldnt be happier with the results! They built our custom dining room table along with some other pieces, including a stunning living wall on the back wall to our patio. Not only do these guys know how to build cabinets, but their knowledge of plants, outdoor weather patterns and what holds up best is second to none. Fineroot are fantastic to work with all around. We began working with them in Dec of 2019 then everything turned sideways in the world, but working with them felt like a haven even with new supply chain issues and covid precautions to consider. We have used FineRoot several times for both our home and businesses. Fine Root has taken on a large scope of projects for us including designing, renovating, and building out restaurant spaces, tiling and shelving our home kitchen, building bedroom furniture and built-ins, and redesigning our sparse backyard space into the perfect spot to relax and soak in the sun. The entire team is incredibly professional and hands on throughout the entire process from concept to design to installation. Ive worked with FineRoot on multiple projects, everything from redesigning our yard to designing, building, and installing our kitchen island. The wood working they do is really exceptional, we just finished a rebuild of our fireplace with a beautiful mantle and cabinet - I could not be happier. Their design skills are top notch and they carry them through everything they do with a super critical eye all the way through their execution. Everything they build is incredibly solid and will last, which is difficult when youre working with outdoor materials and SF fog. Theyre super resourceful and great at doing the permitting dance even on difficult lots (our current house has creek setbacks, they are not fun). They also know their plants, have innovative solutions for all kinds of difficult soils and lean heavily on the less water in a garden is better approach which I really appreciate. Above all else theyre really easy to communicate with and responsive, which honestly is one of the most important qualities for a contractor to have. I love working with Fine Root and recommend them to all our friends.
