Carly was the right partner for Hi Neighbor's new restaurant concept. She took a bare bones prompt and gave us a new guest experience. Her design approach was strategic balancing the guest experience, needs of a busy restaurant, and the financial realities of business operations. Carly has a unique perspective. I've had the opportunity to work with Rose Design in multiple capacities in both San Francisco and Marin. We were first introduced as we collaborated on a San Francisco restaurant. Rose Design managed the interiors, while UNIT partners, my company, managed the brand development. Rose navigated the interior design of the restaurant under the duress of the pandemic. Managing lead times was trying, but the team was responsive, transparent, and flexible when having to shift plans multiple times based on availability and client needs. They were extremely dedicated to the project, easy to work with, and very communicative. Subsequently, as I was looking to gain feedback on my Marin home and future interior plans, Rose Design offered their residential design expertise. We did a walk through and discussed furniture, paint, architectural details, etc. I was impressed by their ability to ideate quickly, in the moment. I felt confident in their ability to recommend out-of-the-box solutions that added to the comfort and aesthetic of my home. It was immensely helpful to gain a new perspective! I had the pleasure of connecting with Carly through my office workplace. My wife and I were in the process of finalizing our San Francisco Mission district home paint plan. We planned on managing the entire process ourselves. But between the hundreds of decision points and personal preferences, we were stumped. We opted to work with Carly on a consultation basis. She came to our home and reviewed the property and our style. I like to think I have a good design sense, but we were really struggling with color selection. Carly came up with a plan that we hadn't even considered and the results were excellent. She made solid recommendations, tips, and tricks and even recommended some vendors for us to connect with. Carly's design support was what we needed to carry it across the finish line. I worked with Carly + team for two separate projects. The first was workplace related where we partnered to redesign our conference rooms (five), main entrance and breakout space. When I tell you it was the easiest process with the most fulfilling end result, I'm not exaggerating. On top of this we accomplished this task in the height of covid! I truly felt like they were able to collaborate well within our needs and create personal touches that were unique with our company. They truly took the time to understand us and create something wonderful. That project worked so well that I requested to work Rose Design for my home project. This was the same type of experience; well organized, collaborative and personal. Overall if I could give double stars I would!
