        I had a really disappointing stay at The Clancy that kind of left me wondering what their idea of hospitality is. I've not seen a more unfriendly staff at Marriots. I was moving out of the city after living there for three amazing years, and I just wanted my last two nights to be special - to have a room with a city view so I could say a proper goodbye. Despite the hotel not being fully booked and having rooms available, the person at the front desk just wouldn't budge and gave me a room on the lowest floor with a view of the street instead. It felt like they just didn't care.And then there's their late check-out policy. They wanted to charge me $25 for every extra hour past check-out time, but only offered a 30-minute extension as a courtesy. It felt really stingy and unwelcoming, especially under the circumstances.Honestly, if you don't enjoy helping or making guests feel welcome, why work in a hotel? My whole experience made me rethink if I'd ever stay with Marriott again.

        The staff was personable and always provided service with a smile. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of food, but an omelette station would make it much better than it is. We ate there everyday during our stay as it was convenient and buffet style. All in all, the hotel is really nice and worth the money. I would stay there again.
