I'm working with John on a kitchen renovation right now. With COVID putting the project on hold for a month and working from home with a toddler, it's just about the worst environment for a renovation. However, John has been an incredibly reliable, solid person to work with. He's an anchor in this crazy time. His work is extremely high quality, his communication is clear and timely, and all of his subcontractors are effective and top-notch.I will update my review when all is said and done, but I feel like I lucked out with John.

John is absolutely amazing: smart, professional, reliable and a pleasure to work with. More importantly, he has done great work for us on our 4-months renovation project and we are very happy with our house.

John Lyng's work is impeccable! His attention to detail, communication of ideas, and problem-solving skills are all utilized in his excellent work. I called Modern Craft Construction after two very positive recommendations by friends [one for interior work, the second for a deck and fence.] John re-fitted my breakfast nook and kitchen with custom bead board, and finishing details. The craftsmanship is superb, there was great clean-up, and I couldn't be happier. Many thanks!
