Had our to-go order from here. Its right around the passport office in SF. We didnt expect much and ordered while going home. To our surprise, it was one of the best indian food we had in the bay area. We ordered Paneer tikka masala, baigan bharta and naan. The owner was friendly and packed us some rice too :) hope to visit again.

A few months after my favorite Indian place closed down, I feel like I've finally found something comparable. I ordered Matar Paneer and Aloo Gobi, and the Matar Paneer is actually creamy, unlike the greasy version that some places have. The aloo gobi seemed to use good produce. So, I'll definitely be ordering from here again. One thing to note is that on their 3-point spice scale, "medium" is fairly spicy. If you're not into spicy food, I'd definitely go for the "mild." I suppose with a name like Spice of India it makes sense!
