Dr. Tomlinson has consistently and genuinely listened to my concerns. I’ve never felt rushed or ignored. I guess that’s why she runs late, on occasion. She’s one of those doctors that wants to understand your concerns and won’t toss you out like another number.

Outstanding Primary care physician. She has excellent knowledge and outstanding patient care. She knows her patients very well and addresses everything in details. By far the best PCP I had in years.

I went in for regular doctors visit which usually costs me $14 copay. I am on a tight budget so I always ask in advance if anything will cost extra. My usual doctor isn't Miss Tomlinson, but I was seen by her since my usual doctor was on vacation. Miss Tomlinson asked me routine questions and of course I never want to lie to doctors about my health or anything so I said, my foot hurts from a long time ago when I broke a bone in there. The doctor didn't even look at my foot, not even touch it. The appointment was less than 15 minutes of literally just talking. Months later I end up receiving a charge for a doctors visit along with a physical exam. (the physical exam, I did NOT receive.) That sucked, since my insurance doesn't cover physicals. I did a claim and it has taken forever because apparently the doctor "put in the wrong code." This is so much wasted time of me having to be in the phone with both my insurance and the Doctors Billings Claim number to explain what really happened during my office visit in order to clear this. The process to clear this is still going on. It is absolutely ridiculous. I didn't ask to get a physical exam and didn't receive one. Yet she wrote that I received one. I feel like she scammed me. That was the last time I ever go to her.

DON'T GO TO HER! BEWARE. I went to doctor Tomlinson for a routine checkup. I went home thinking, cool she's an okay doctor. Weeks later my bill did not represent her so good. She had written me up for multiple codes - codes that showed I had been diagnosed /treated for several things. These treatments and diagnostics did NOT occur. Of course I was billed for things that my insurance does not cover. So now I'm stuck having to dispute this or become in debt slowly paying for treatment that I didn't receive. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH HER.

I had just recently moved to the bay area and was looking for a primary care in the city. After doing some research, I found Dr. Tomlinson. I called and made an appointment and was told my insurance (BCBS) should cover majority of the visit and if anything I'd have to pay a small co-pay. My first appointment went well, Dr. Tomlinson seemed nice and gave me a routine checkup. I asked for a physical therapist referenece before I left and was told they would get back to me in the next week or so. 2 weeks later I still havent received a call so I call back and ask if they were able to find anything for me. I was told that they have been very busy and weren't able to find anything yet, and that theyd get back to me in a week. The next week they called back and gave me 3 references in the city, which all happen to not be covered by my insurance. I decided that this was a waste of time and went on to find a new primary care. I lost a couple of hours of a day and spent maybe 30 minutes on the phone, whatever not a big deal, or so I thought... About a month goes by - I get home one night and open a letter from UCSF and almost drop as I see a $950 charge for a primary care visit! I was told that my insurance should cover the visit and if anything I would have to pay a small co-pay... $950. I felt scammed, $950 for a 20 minute visit and 3 PT references that didn't even work for me! I tried calling Dr. Tomlinson but was never able to get ahold of her. I called once a week for about 3 weeks and kept getting told the same thing "Dr. Tomlinson is not in office right now but I will leave a note for her to call you back". After calling my insurance and being told there was nothing I could do, I just decided to pay the bill and move on. I have lived in various places my whole life and have been with 5+ primary cares and never had a bad experience until I met with Dr. Tomlinson. Who would have thought going to a doctor for a routine check up and a PT reference would lead to so much headache and a $950 charge..
