Yuka Yu Music

Yuka Yu has DJ'd at several of our local Chamber of Commerce events and she is wonderful. Professional and really knows how to get an event energized with great mixes.

I'm a friend and fan of Yuka. I've also worked with her at a few shows. Her creative mind, range and work ethic in music is amazing. On day 3 of EDC she pulls out a set, I call her Yukacorn of Funk mode with acid house tracks that takes us on a musical journey through the milky way of funk as her set progresses, she slides the crowd back down into a 1920s speakeasy bar sounding track. Ending her set with a euphoric vocal house track. Yuka's Chinese New Year Mix. Intro starts Peking opera music to Chinese pop songs into funky Asian sounds it just keeps getting funkier till the end. That recorded set welcomed this New Lunar Year with sounds of The Atomic Rabbit. Yuka has done a few rear shows with Soji a Violinist, and live band blending together into a jazz set. Yuka teams up with Qjin a Guzheng player. Yuka does drum and bass tracks and Qjin comes in by shredding up a 25 string electrified Guzheng. They literally rocked the house that night. Yuka's cordial way of communication in any social atmosphere makes her easy to work with.

We booked Yuka for our Halloween Wedding, what a great night! Our meetings were very professional, timely and comprehensive and she made the process fun and manageable. She demonstrates tremendous care in setting a vibe while taking a journey through so much different great music, all while fulfilling our requests. Truly a master at work!

Yuka DJ'd a fantastic set for us at our KACE Tea @drinkkace launch party! I had seen her live band DJ set prior and knew I had to have her spin some amazing music at our launch party. Will definitely hire her again!
