Bark To Basics

We have been taking our dogs to Bark to Basics since 2006. Shura and her team provide the BEST doggy daycare environment, specifically tailored to the needs of small dogs. We will be forever grateful that our four legged family members have had this wonderful, safe and loving place to spend their days. Only wish that we could rate Bark to Basics more than five stars!

This is my first google review, ever! Weve been with B2B for almost 5 years since my dog (8 lbs. Maltese) was old enough to go to a doggy care and we couldnt be happier with care they have shown throughout those years. They are professional, reliable, and care about their service. I love the fact that my dog gets picked up and drop off at our house and she comes home happy and tired. So far she never came home sick or injured. When John picks her up in the morning, she thinks she is going home. I appreciate Shura and John for taking god care of my dog and I hope they continue to thrive.

Our dog, Sparky, has been going to Bark to Basics for nearly seven years. He eagerly waits by the door for his morning pickup, and runs out happily to start his day of fun and exercise with his B2B buddies. Shura and her crew provide professional care in a wonderful setting, and they clearly love Sparky (and all the dogs) as much as we do. Highly recommended!

Our dog loves to come here for both daycare and overnights. It's a great feeling to know she is in a home environment with lots of attention and other small dogs too! Highly recommend!

If you are looking for an extraordinary place to send your small dog this is the place to go.I'm extremely cautious about who I will leave my dog with and after doing extensive research I found Bark to Basics to be the best place for small dogs. It's peace of mind that your pup is being loved, treated well and having fun all day. Shura and the rest of the staff at Bark to Basics are amazing. Everyone is so caring, kind and gentle and the services they offer are super helpful - pick up and drop off of your pup, etc. Bark to Basics has property in Montara as well as the city so once a week your pup gets to take a field trip to Montara for some running around in the "country". My dog has been going to B2B full time (Mon - Friday) for several years and she still is so excited to leave the house every morning.
