I liked the clinic/office and dr Krishnan's bedside manner alot. However, she did a poor job on the stitching / suturing after removal of a mass from under my skin.

Ive dealt with scalp issues for more than 3 years and have been hesitant to visit a dermatologist. This year I finally made the decision to meet with one and Im so glad I chose Arya Derm. Dr. Krishnan was so knowledgeable and took the time to explain my condition (with drawings too!). She provided me with clear solutions and I couldnt be happier with the results.

I hesitated a long time before deciding to move forward with selecting a dermatologist for the typical symptoms of aging that hit us all at midlife. I met with the highest rated skin care clinic in town and then with Dr. Forum Patel at Arya. I had a whole host of treatments - botox, laser and microneedling etc. in mind. Her approach is amazing! She said as a first step get your skin care routine in hand. Your skin is good, I can do botox now but you don't need the rest if you take care of your skin. The other clinic was fully prepared to give me everything I asked for. It's so refreshing to find someone that values client care over financial gain. If you are considering a skin care professional, I can't recommend Dr. Forum Patel enough, her care, clinic and staff are amazing.

Several years ago, Arya Derm prescribed me a an off label diuretic without telling me what it was usually used for or checking my blood pressure. When I told them that I had repeatedly felt like my heart was beating out of my chest or had my vision go dark/almost passed out, they told me I must be imagining it. Ive recently discovered that I have very low blood pressure and am bummed that I was made to believe my reaction to this medication was just in my head and that I tried to take it for so long.

This place could not be better. Dr. Krishnan and her team do everything right here. Great doctor, staff, beautiful office, convenient location of Union Square. Very professional and also personally pleasant. I have had embarrassing and not so embarrassing areas dealt with, and the doctor and staff were equally great about both. Everything about this place is easy and pleasant. The treatments have been impactful and made a positive difference in my life. I only wish I had come in sooner! The whole team works well together. They are all service-oriented, professional, and also very nice. Both the office and medical staff are efficient and effective with insurance, prescriptions, prescription approvals, and scheduling. The front-desk staff know who you are, remember you as a person. They have gone out of their way to provide opportunities to see the doctor earlier when cancellations come up, even responding after hours.
