UCSF Buchanan Dental Center

I had an incredibly frustrating experience here, to the point where I regret ever stepping foot in their facility. After being worked on multiple teeth's over months, when I got transferred to another student dentist, they discovered the work done on me was of poor quality and was already showing signs of deterioration. I basically had to to everything done twice. This revelation led to a series of countless visits to correct the shoddy work, consuming much more of my time and patience than I ever anticipated. On multiple occasions, I was told upon arrival that the necessary machinery wasn't functioning. This not only wasted my time but delayed essential dental work. But the incompetence wasn't limited to their dental services; their billing department was a disaster. They consistently charged me for services without properly filing claims with my insurance. Despite numerous calls and emails to their billing department highlighting the issue, I received no updates or resolutions. They showed a complete lack of initiative to rectify the situation, leaving me in limbo. And now, to add insult to injury, after my insurance coverage has ended, they claim that the insurance company never received the claims, hence, they weren't paid. This entire ordeal has been not just a waste of time but a significant source of stress. In summary, both the dental and billing services at UCSF were profoundly disappointing. The level of unprofessionalism and negligence I experienced was astonishing. I cannot in good conscience recommend this clinic to anyone. Avoid it at all costs to spare yourself the stress and time wasted in dealing with their myriad of issues.

There are some customer you never know he is in the line for appointments cause he seat in the chair and some customer feeling entitled to getting priority cause their age. smh

Honesty Professionalism Trustworthy Short waiting time Kindness I love and prefer them better than Parnassus ones. Just be patient if you're looking for a first time appointment. Also don't work very well by phone. I mean it's hard to get a phone call back or voice message respond. They work better by email and excellent in person .
