This dental clinic is a scam. Before I came, I called and asked, and the front desk told me that the total price of the xray was $200. Told me there was no extra price. After I went there for the first time, the price suddenly increased to 500 and I was asked to do a second xray of 600 to get the guide. I felt that I had been scammed. Additionally, The doctor's attitude was very bad.

Made an appointment several weeks in advance to use my benefits before EoY and requested they verify my insurance. Two days before I am scheduled to come in - last week of the year - they tell me I am out of network. They have other doctors available in-network, they say, but none available this year. This was highly avoidable.

Review after tooth extraction (posted to Yelp): Dr. Duncan and the staff are wonderful. I have significant dental anxiety and need everything explained well. They were patient and took their time to explain what was needed and what they could do, scheduled me quickly, and performed tooth extraction and bone graft exactly as detailed. IV sedation was great and, 5 days out, recovery has been without incident. Review after placement of post: Dr. Duncan and the West Portal staff are truly impressive. Scheduling was easy, rescheduling due to flu was accommodating, preop contact and explanation was clear and helpful, medication was called into my pharmacy, and billing was transparent. Again, the procedure and recovery progressed exactly as described. The entire process was professionally and caringly orchestrated. Dr. Duncan even called the evening following surgery to check on me!
