    The level of incompetence and lack of accountability at Collective Health is unbelievable. Before scheduling a procedure, we called to verify how much coverage we had remaining. If insurance (Collective Health) denied the claim, we would be responsible for the amount billed to insurance, not the discounted out of pocket amount. Based on their verbal and written feedback, we decided to go through insurance instead of pay out of pocket. Then, Collective Health denied the claim. They acknowledge that they gave us the incorrect information upon which we made our decision, but they refuse to cover it, and we are now stuck with the entire amount for the higher insurance bill. Even having information in writing from them is not enough protection from this highly unethical company.

    I only deal with collective health because my company forces me to. They have no mechanism for direct deposit so assuming your claim is approved, they will take 8-10 weeks to mail you a reimbursement check. The tried to tell me I needed a Dr's note for an over the counter covid test and then denied my claim when I submitted it saying it wasn't on the approved list. I was able to show them that it was on the FDA's list in less than 5 minutes. All member submitted claims are automatically flagged as out of network which should be illegal. Dealing with the insurance company directly would be so much easier and more efficient.

    Very poor customer service. Audibly frustrated at me, their own company, their own processes, and sounded frustrated to be dealing with anyone. When asked a very simple question about what email to use when registering, I was given the incorrect and unclear information that delayed the process. Overall, will be actively advocating for my current company to not use this firm.
