I first visited Dr. Sokolsky after a major car accident, he was very patient in explaining what happened to my body during/ after a car accident, he listened to my concerns and provided his professional guidance. He cares about his patients as a whole beings, from posture, life style. He's not the typical chiropractor who only adjusts where you have pain, but maintains your spinal health even when you feel better. Dr. Sokolsky treats a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions such as back and neck pain, sciatica, and arm and leg pain and discomfort. Give him a call and see how he can help you. When I first started seeing Dr. Sokolsky, I had been living with severe sciatica pain for about 4 months.  I had kept putting off treatment because I thought that the pain would fade away on its own, but now I know that I was actually aggravating it for those 4 months without realizing it.  I felt pain in my lower back and numbness/tingling in my leg 24/7 and even taking 3 pills of ibuprofen at a time (as directed by my PCP) wasn't decreasing the pain.  It was so unbearable that it was hard for me to focus at work or even lie in bed comfortably at night. After just one session with Dr. Sokolsky, my symptoms improved EXPONENTIALLY.  The Activator Method he uses is completely painless and worked wonders for my pain.  I have been raving to friends and family about it ever since and encouraging everyone I know who suffers from back pain to go to Dr. Sokolsky.  He is one of a few chiropractors in the area who is certified to use the Activator Method and he does it with great expertise!  What's more, each appointment after the initial one takes only 10-15 minutes so I can easily fit them into my busy schedule!I also really appreciated that Dr. Sokolsky spent time during the initial appointment to educate me about my injury, especially since all my PCP had told me was that I had sciatica and didn't go into any further detail.  In later sessions, he also taught me how to adjust my desk space at work so as to be gentler on my spine during my 8 hour work day of mostly sitting.  I feel like my quality of life has improved significantly as a result of Dr. Sokolsky's treatment and I am very grateful to him!
