It supposed to be open 9 to 5 Monday to Friday but when i showed up today to return the rental at 9 , the sign says they will be back at 1:00 pm . Its a joke

My partner and I rented a car from this lyft rental garage for 24 hours to explore San Francisco. The pick up process as well as the drop off process was easy to a fault. When we picked up the car, the service reps at the garage did not bring the car out of its parking spot in order for us to do a full inspection of the condition of the car. We had to pull the car out of a tight parking spot. When we returned the car, there was no walk through examination of the car with a service rep to communicate problems on the spot. Rather, the drop off process was just a contactless drop-off which would have been fine if we didnt get charged a $75 cleaning fee for a stain we were not responsible for 2 hours after drop off. The charge was communicated through email and when we tried to dispute it, the only contact was a representative from Lyft corporate which was only able to help us so much. Our only option for talking to a representative at the garage was to go back in person. Since we needed to rent a car, its quite obvious that we would have no way to return to the garage just to dispute a charge for something we did not do. It seems like the inspection process at this garage is quite inconsistent and customers may be charged with damages and fees that were already present and undocumented. I really wish that this experience was entirely seamless since the quick pickup and drop off seemed to be so convenient but I would warn future users of this service and garage to be careful!!!
