Lobby Bar

I really had high hopes for this place, the Castro is in dire need of something classy. Unfortunately, the staff is what brings the tone wayyy down. I thought they were homeless people in the bar, but it was the bartenders. For the price point, I expect them to have more respect for their clientele.

This staff look so disheveled and disinterested in being there. Its a weird vibe and not in a good way. It could be a nice spot but the service is non existent. Three sad looking staff members were just scrolling on their phones non stop behind the bar and couldnt be bothered to walk 6 feet to take an order from the three people total in the place. They just toss menus at you and tell you to order at the bar. This place will be gone in 6 months for sure.

This spot looks great from the outside but I went in with my girlfriend and our other queer female friend and no one came over to take our order or otherwise exchange pleasantries. Worth noting that the friend I was with uses a wheelchair and there are other comments on here about the servers being ableist. I thought we were past the division between queer folks, but it would seem that Ben begs to differ. 0/10

Finally nice to see a classy cocktail spot in the Castro. Perfect little space with a big city sensibility. Interior is dark, with beautiful finishes. We stayed for one drink. The other people had food which looked like nice bar bites. Mixed crowd of ages, less diversity in color or ethnicity. The bartender was responsive and played decent rap/hip-hop. Would like to try their mixed drinks or wines next time.
