        We had this bank for years, but over the years they put up a lot of barriers to banking for regular people thus we made a brilliant choice to leave. It was good timing although at the time it did not feel like that.

        I've been banking with First Republic for years. I wouldn't bank anywhere else. The staff at the Van Ness location are amazing in every which way - knowledgeable, helpful and professional. I've steered a number of friends over to First Republic and have nothing but glowing things to say about this institution.
