I brought my mom there from their sister facility in Oakland. My mom was walking prior to getting there but months later when we moved her back to Oakland my mom was unable to walk and to this day she is unable to walk. Staffing and the lack of care has been a problem and management refuses to address I will never advise anyone to leave their loves one with this place the turn over rate is horrible the current staffing model they have to provide care for their customers is substandard and its not safe by by no means. The excuses they use to justify staffing is alarming and unethical bottom line safety and care is not a priority for its customers. Memory Care that is across the street from the main office is poorly managed from a safety and care aspect. Staffing has been a concern for both levels meaning upstairs and down stairs to care for both wheel chair and non wheel chair customers along with those that are unable to leave their bed. The director in my opinion is "you get what you pay for" bucket of excuses to justify staffing the care for the customers is not important its about collecting that monthly invoice that ranges from 5K to 7K that is the priority I have called her many of times before I moved my mother out and afterwards I am done I hope this review will prevent anyone from leaving their love ones with this nursing home please do not trust them they are not trust worthy. I tried calling the director never called me back I have zero interest having any convo regarding my mother's care during the time she was there it was horrible care and now she cannot walk due to they failed my mom no need to talk at all and honestly my exchange will not be professional due to the care that was provided. My mother passed this morning and I know before we moved my mom from Pacifica Senior Living Oakland Heights in oakland to the Village my mom was able to walk, feed her self and was engaged with people. One of my biggest issues with the Village was staffing in the memory department the staffing was not staffed correctly in order to serve patients safely and efficiently I made more than several complaints to the director and was met with dead ears nothing was ever done the care they spoke of in the beginning was a lie it was false I pray no family ever trust this establishment with their love ones it will be thee worse decision you will ever make. When we decided to move my mom back to Oakland my mom's health declined to the point she was not able to walk her will to engage was not there she was an empty shell the neglect was horrifying I blame this on the Village poor lack of care but made sure that monthly fee was paid each month they made sure we got that invoice they made sure they received payment for piss poor care. I hope this review will warn others do not trust them with your loved ones with their memory floor they do not have the staff to provide quality care but in acct receivable they have the staff to ensure their invoices are sent out and paid. Please stay away from the Village my name is Derrick Jennings as we mourn my mother's passing I blame the Village to her decline in health while she stayed there!

My cousin was a resident at The Village at Hayes Valley (Pacifica Senior Living). Its a beautiful boutique style facility. The reason for my cousin being placed here was due to a sad and difficult situation. Anja, the Marketing Director is one of the most wonderful persons Ive ever met. She was very professional, supportive and extremely caring and its obvious that she loves what she does. She is very compassionate and understanding. She went above and beyond to help us and I cannot say enough good things about her, and the facility. She is truly a special person! Also, thank you Andrew and all the executive management team for all you did! The caregiving staff was always very warm, caring and helpful. They made my cousin feel like she was family. They work together to give the residents exceptional care. Sandy, the receptionist was also great and helpful! George Stickles, Activities Director, who we met on our last days there, was kind and pleasant. He gave us a picture and a few small crafts my cousin had made. He also sent pictures of my cousin engaging in some of the activities when she was there. A special thanks to our angel, Antrina V. for gifting the beautiful handmade shawl to my cousin. My cousin loves it and carries it with her at all times! This act of kindness will never be forgotten and will always hold a special place in our hearts. A totally wonderful experience that made our difficult situation better. I highly recommend this facility.
