Buena Vista Manor House

Buena Vista Manor House is a godsend for our brother, Jerry, and family. He is cared for with great kindness in a warm and cozy environment. The facility is located in a beautiful neighborhood and surrounded by a lovely garden. David Wall, the Director of BVMH, is compassionate, patient, and good-humored. We should all be so lucky to be cared for in such a sweet and well-tended place!

I moved my mom here from Pennsylvania and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The staff here is really caring and it's a family run business, and operated with an attention to detail and humanness unlike a large corporate conglomerate like many retirement communities. Beautiful views and garden, I couldn't ask for anything more. Perfect size community in my opinion. They also did / do a great job at protecting the seniors from getting covid-19. A+ for me.

The worst Assisted Living community possible in all of San Francisco. The community is severely understaffed and lack training. The environment is depressing and there isn't activities for my Aunt to participate in. The meals are below grade cafeteria food and you get all of this at a hefty price. Believe me, you will find far better amenities and services at any of the competitors in the San Francisco area. The building is outdated and the rooms seem like dorm rooms. To top it off, the owner is ignorant and has no customer service skills at all. The building has an Administrator that can never be reached, nor does she have any clue on how to properly run a community. Every time I have questions regarding my Aunt, I can never get a clear answer from her. Seems as if management has no experience. My family and I are planning to relocate our Aunt to a much better community where she can thrive. This clearly is not the place. Sorry Buena Vista Manor House, but in my opinion this establishment is a sad and depressing place and no one should spend their golden years here.
