The Rise Hayes Valley

Lived here for almost a year but had to move due to career change. Complex was always clean and the staff was friendly and approachable. When I did have a maintenance issue it was resolved very quickly. If ever moved back I would consider this place again. Thanks

No hot water. Never gave any concessions to any tenants for it. They take advantage of tenants in stressful situations. If you can afford to live here, you can afford to live somewhere better.

Unprofessional, incompetent, terrible management. Lived in the building over a year and didnt have basic hot water for over 6 months. The management has done little to nothing to actively change the problem and they are absolutely apathetic. The security guard often drinks on the job and management continues to hire incompetent people. All, except for Ray and the current night guard, who are extremely efficient, smart and truly the only pleasant people in the building. Nothing about the experience of living at the rise was comfortable. You pay for an experience at the rise at hayes valley, but you could be fooled by a tenderloin-like experience. I would never recommend this building to anyone looking to move; any other resident will corroborate.
