Poor customer service from check in and on board crew!!!

This trip going home was delayed and would miss our connecting flight so they automatically booked us on a flight for the next day. This can be a problem for many. We had a place to stay in Ket West but I had an airbnb reserved for the next day which is non refundable do I paid for 1 night we did not get to use which is why I did not give them 5 stars. This trip we were on stopping at 3 places and we had 9 flights. 1 of the flights from Newport News VA to layover city Charlotte NC we had my first ever Emergency Landing. We were told that the Emergency break light was on but was checked out and the emergency break was not on they believed. Due to the light being on they would have to follow procedure which is an emergency landing with passengers in the "brace position" into Charlotte. When the plane started going down the Flight Attendant started repeating "Heads Down Stay Down" until the plane stopped on the ground. It did seem like a long time but I am sure it was not that long. No one told us what the brace position was. I heard the flight attendant telling someone in back but I got the document out which show the brace position. I would of done it wrong because I thought your hands would lock behind your head but it showed hands down holding on to the seat. After landing the fire & rescue vehicles with lights & sirens on came to plane and gave the ok to continue to the gate. The emergency brake was not on as the pilot said he believed- They totally followed procedure and they did a great job. We were an hour late into Charlotte so we had to move fast to make our connecting flight. They still had a few passengers to load so we just barely made it on our next flight to Key West. The flight attendant (only 1 on this plane) said this was her first Emergency landing also. I don't know how long she had worked for AA but don't think it is that common. We made it to Key West safe.

Ive never seen such rude American Airline staff. I love flying with American due to how helpful and kind the staff typically is, but all the staff here (beside the actual flight crew and lounge staff) have been on a power trip. Absolutely no customer service skills.
