My 92yr old, father has been a customer of Lone Star Security for over 20yrs. He moved into an Assisted Living Facility at the begining of 2022; he says he canceled his service. He was billed for monitoring in October 2022 and again in 2023. i am assisting him with his business affairs and noticed both charges had be automatically deducted from his bank so called their offices. I was first directed to Norma Andrade in their cancelation department...I I let her know that the alarm not been armed for almost 2yrs, her response was "We would not know if the alarm is being used or not is the customer's responsibility to test the alarm every 2 or 3 months to know if the alarm has signals" but forwarded me to Bruce, the regional manager (who was out of town). Bruce was sympathetic and remembered my father and said the charges would be reversed or a refund would be processed. That didn't happen either, Ray Ashby in accounting said charges could only be reversed within 3 days of processing and that a check would be sent. That was on Oct 26th.... In November Bruce said he was behind. My last communication from Bruce came on Jan 29th after I threatened to take the matter with BBB and my bank...he responded "Thank you. I had yes overlooked this. Much else has distracted me. Ill get it squared away by Friday" which was Feb 2nd... Today is Feb 20th and still no refund. This is disappointing - again my dad is 92yrs, this is too much for him to take care of without help; perhaps their hope is that elderly customers will forget and they can keep money for services that aren't rendered. Use another company - ADT may not offer the "personalized" service that Lone Star Security used to pride themselves with, but you will get what you pay for and more important they do follow-up on refunds etc. Shame on you!

Weve been Loan Star customers for decades! They service all three of my families businesses and my home. Theyve been wonderful attentive and super responsive with billing, service, alarms going off etc. Bruce, Rich, and the dispatch personnel have always done an amazing job. Thank youuuuu

Scam company hes trying to sue me and Im not the business owner nor never had a business in my name. Very money hungry no moral having owner. Im sure he spends more time in court than he does running his business.

I don't think I even need to add more negative reviews as it seems everyone knows how terrible this company is. I spoke with Bruce, who is either the owner or manager. It was a Mr. Jekly and Mr. Hyde experience. When I was sold the alarm system he was very professional and nice. When I ended the contract after 1 year of service, and we were trying to return the equipment, his demeanor changed. I have never been yelled at by any one so loudly since my last drill seargent in the Army. He didn't scare me as I know what kind of people yell at customers and I've dealt with worse people than him, but he might scare a lot of other people. I would steer clear of this company. Look at all the reviews....they speak for themselves.
