There was a lack of communication and better judgment, which caused delay after delay. The residents were exposed to long exposure of dust and toxic odor from the building.
The initial PAINTER who was hired to paint exterior was singing and intentional loud during early mornings. We were harassed by him when he was at the window of my Bedroom. He continued to his bad behavior by leaving tape strips on my window and trash everywhere.
The manager had no control of the workers, they left complete mess on stairs where people can slip and fall. This happened daily during first 2 months into the renovation. Miguel tried hard and was appreciated. He was here most of time to check in.
CAL-QUAKE CONSTRUCTION retrofitter were hired and treated tenants like farm animals in a slaughterhouse. It was a complete disregard for anyone living in the building.
