Purchased an in home wine tasting, flew a chef in,spent $400 In food and invited out of town friends over for a fun filled evening. PRP cancelled the night before leaving me out a tasting experience. One star since PRP dropped off the Wine and tasting notes to me.

Gary was a very rude individual. I tried to buy a case of wine and I wanted a discount for buying 12 bottles. You know, a first time discount...? This guy took the order sheet out of my hand and told me, "obviously you're not interested" and then packed his bags and left. This case would have been $1000 with no discount and I felt it was fair as a new customer to ask for one. I am amazed this guy Gary works here. Horrible experience. Would never recommend this guy or company to any I care about.

I had the deep misfortune of having to interact with two of their representatives, confirmed by them talking about their business several times while on a tour in Japan. Some of the most arrogant, condescending, and pretentious people Ive ever met. Be ready to get talked down to. Continuously berating our tour guide about not providing enough clarity even though they would speak over her nonstop and would almost never listen to instructions. For every compliment they would offer an equally insulting comment loudly about Japanese culture at every turn - the exception was making notes about the temperature in each city for their business. Nothing short of pure exploitation. I highly recommend against buying from this company if youre looking for specialty Japanese wine, let alone any international wine. Find true experts that actually appreciate, respect, and comprehend other cultures. Be careful bragging about your profession, then being downright disrespectful.

Just completed a home tasting for 12 with Mr. Voss. Sadly the reviews were mixed at best. As way of background I acquired a wine tasting for 12 through a silent charity auction. I paid close to market value for the tasting. As a professional with 30 years of client experience, I know a little about customer service. The best way I can describe the experience I had (both mine and my guests) was Mr. Voss was inflexible, uptight and arrogant. From the beginning, when I set this up I sensed Voss was not interested in my opinion even as to the wines I like. Also , he made me send him my address multiple times and he admonished me like I was a teenager. My group was entirely 50 + professionals. When he entered my home, I offered food and had my great room bar ready for him . He responded I am not your bartender. I never said he was. Overall the wines we're good, but not great. My guests enjoyed most of them and Voss knew his stuff. Sadly , he asked everyone to fill out rating sheets and then didn't collect or review them. What a missed opportunity to get feedback! Also , he refused to mention pricing until the end of the tasting. Then he made an all or nothing offer that my guests refused. He left in a hurry and lectured me outside because I dare to ask if the wine was available online, ie, PRP website. I was promised a fun evening and no pressure sale. Unfortunately we had neither.
