We hired Cavin as our photographer for both our engagement and wedding, and we couldn't have been more pleased with her work; we highly recommend her to anyone in search of a talented and personable photographer. We couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful or talented photographer. Cavin is a true artist. From the moment we began working with her for our engagement photos, we knew we had chosen the right photographer, especially with how well she posed us and how prompt and detailed she is. Her book was also really helpful in helping us plan our wedding and we were absolutely thrilled with our wedding photos. We will treasure them forever. If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding, Cavin should be your top choice.

We had the best experience working with Cavin and her team on our wedding! She was by far the most organized vendor we worked with and we really appreciated how on top of communication she was despite her crazy busy schedule. We shot the engagement photos, welcome dinner, and wedding day together and the photos turned out fantastic! She made us feel extremely comfortable and gave a ton of direction, which we loved since my husband and I both don't like having our picture taken! The combination of film and digital was amazing because we have so much variety to choose from and the editing looks so natural. She truly captured the beauty of our surroundings in addition to the event. Our friends and family continue to compliment us on the photos almost a year out from our wedding weekend, and we have prints framed everywhere in our house. We couldn't recommend Cavin and her team more!

We are SO happy we chose Cavin as our wedding photographer. In addition to her work being just stunning, she was easily one of the most helpful vendors throughout the entire wedding planning experience. From the very first call we knew she would be a good fit. We immediately felt confident that she would not only capture the most special time in our lives in a beautiful manner, she would handle it with the utmost professionalism while making it a personal and enjoyable experience all along the way. From there, she was extremely responsive to all of our communications, when not already proactively reaching out to us. To say she is organized and detailed is an understatement. As an extremely busy and Type A bride, I could not have appreciated this more!! She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to photography and her tips, forms, and reminders were invaluable. Her book and blog posts are essential for anyone who wants that picture perfect wedding! Whether you have questions on where to do your engagement shoot, what to wear, creating your wedding timeline, accessories to bring for detail shots, recommendations for hair & makeup artists, etc., shes got the answer. We were a little nervous heading into our engagement shoot, not having done anything like that before, but she immediately put us at ease and made us feel comfortable. The time ended up flying by, it was so fun! She gave us all the guidance we needed- the perfect director! And when it comes to the actual final product- WOW! Cavin captured multiple events for us, and each time we were blown away when we received the gallery. From the bright and candid shots, to romantic and intimate moments, to timeless portraits, she got it all and we are going to cherish these images and the memories they bring back. We originally hired Cavin to do our engagement photos in San Diego. I first found her on Instagram where I was captivated by her beautiful color film photography. After a wonderful engagement session, we decided to ask Cavin to photograph our destination wedding in Negril, Jamaica. Cavin was always professional, and so detail oriented. I am not much of a planner, and with our small, laidback destination wedding, we weren't super focused on the details. Cavin helped me cobble together the vision that I could hardly put into words. She is super organized and extremely competent. She was so flexible when COVID forced us to push our wedding back a year, and she was supportive and understanding the whole way through. She brought her husband, David, as her second shooter, and they were an absolute dream to work with. They got all of the shots we wanted and even more that I hadn't even thought of. I cannot recommend Cavin enough!
