As a photographer, I usually book this studio when I do studio sessions. The host Vince is always accommodating and easy to work with. There is plenty of free ground level parking and the location is easy to get to. There's also studio equipment available to rent such as lighting and when you book you get one free background included. There's a light up vanity for your models, WiFi access, a restroom, and clothing rack. The studio is available to book at on peer space and you may also follow them on Instagram @thepixelloungesd

My company requires quite a bit of video production, so we are always looking for new companies to work with. I just got off the phone with these guys while hoping to hire them to do some live streaming for a upcoming auction and it was one of the worst experiences I've had on the phone in a while. The kid was absurdly condescending about the terminology I was using (sorry I didn't go to film school kid). He also didn't seem to know what his companies rates were, stating something along the lines of "we bill after the fact if anything changes"... what does that even mean? Avoid these jokers.

Just called these guys to gauge what their prices were for on-going projects as they seem to have very nice equipment and location space and the 1 and only previous review seemed fantastic (kind of makes you wonder if it's even real after what happens next.) Right from the start the guy on the phone was so lethargic in speech it brings your entire energy down to the point of wondering if this person is seriously depressed. I even had to ask twice if this was in fact a video production company as I seriously thought I dialed the wrong number. There was absolutely no mention of it and this guy seemed so grumpy and annoyed that you would think the phone call woke him up from an 11 am nap. A simple call with a simple question... "What are your average rates to rent out studio time - high end to low end and what does that cover?" Seems like a very reasonable question that 99% of people looking for such a service would have - only the man on the phone couldn't answer the question - even after an understandably brief consultation where I explained to him what my needs were. (This was a big red flag that you're fishing for how much to charge based on how much money they think a potential customer has) Lovely! Then after 10 minutes I mentioned that he still hadn't answered the question above and he proceeded tell me "I really don't want to work with you because you're kind of an a**hole." A**hole for what? Following the instructions on the website to give you a call with any questions? A** for answering your questions? Or maybe I'm an a**hole for wanting to hire a company and pay them money for a service that we need on a continuous basis? Either way at this point it's completely irrelevant because now I've finally given you a reason to call me an a**hole :-) Because you're left with a terrible review from someone who is very much a good person looking invest money and produce the highest quality content we can in order to serve those that seek it out. Who furthermore, was looking to make a decision on a company that provide this type of service today - with money to spend. So kudos to you Mr. Salesman or Owner or whoever you were, because you blew a substantial sale in epic fashion! I think it's important for anyone reading this review to ask yourself a few simple questions... The first being - With only a single other review at the time of writing, was that review even real? Or was it just self promotion from a friend? Second - If a company is willing to call someone derogatory names before they've even taken someones money how are they going to act when a customer has any requests? Will they be annoyed? Hostile? Try to charge you for more time while making you feel guilty for asking questions? Who knows - but it's a risk I'm sure most sensible individuals are not willing to take. And third - For a company that produces video, why don't you have a link to a Youtube channel on your website? Seems a bit silly not to showcase work you've already done. Good thing there are plenty of other options around from people who value good business and are enthusiastic to talk to you about your project. And in closing I want to extend to you a warm "Thank you!" as you prevented both myself and I'm sure others reading this review from making a terrible mistake. - Your friendly neighborhood A**hole.
