I've been taking my dog to South coast for years now and have always had good experiences. I love that I don't have to make him go under anaesthesia to get his teeth cleaned and the process is smooth and his teeth stay in great shape. He's 11 this year and has great teeth and has never had to go under anesthesia for a teeth cleaning at the vet's. I know that has a lot to do with South coast. The only improvement I would make is they are often booked out months in advance so it's hard to get an appointment right away but I guess that's testament to how much others are needing their service. Thanks guys! Updating this as I think it's important for pet owners. While non anesthesic dentals are great for maintenance, having a proper anesthetic dental with your vet is still needed. I thought the non anesthesic dental with regular daily brushing would be good enough but I ended up having to bring my dog in to get a full cleaning at the vet when a wiggly tooth was noticed and he ended up having to get 5 teeth removed. So even with regular visits and brushing, it doesn't remove the need for a regular periodic cleaning with your vet under anesthesia (though I completely understand the fear of putting your beloved pet under for any procedure) as not doing so could lead to other serious illnesses.

I recently took my dog for her first dental cleaning at South Coast Pet Dentals. I was worried because another non-anesthetic pet dental cleaner had rejected seeing my dog because she said that my dog was bitter. South Coast Pet Dentals had no problem cleaning my dog's teeth. Save money and time and bring your dog here instead of a regular vet.

Very pleased with South Coast Pet Dentals. I took my dog to another place and they told me they couldn't clean her teeth, they said she had too much anxiety. A friend told me about South Coast and they had no issues at all. They even sent me a video they took while they were cleaning her teeth. They are also the most affordable in San Diego. Very friendly and experienced staff too. I will definitely be returning!
