Rady Children's Mid-City (San Diego) Urgent Care

Brought my daughter, the nurses were very nice, also the front desk lady very nice attitude. They were all very professional.

Walk into this urgent care and @ 9 pm when they close at 10 pm and we were turned away looks like they were running an illegal alien hospital. Bad customer service to turn a patient away after I pay monthly for health care.

I am extremely disappointed with the care we received today. The staff was OK but the main provider Dr Mendes was awful. She disregarded every concern that we had, my child has a temp of 100.2 and she stated it was normal because it wasn't even a fever yet and that fevers in children are completely normal and there isn't anything to do about them anyway... As a healthcare profesional myself, I can't believe the misinformation coming out of her mouth. I felt insulted, I have never had an unpleasant experience at any CPCMG or Radys, it's such a shame she's in the team, she really brings down the quality of care

This place is a joke. Got there at 430p and wasn't seen until 845p. The wait times are made up, and the numbers mean absolutely nothing. Had several people seen before me who arrived after me with no appointment, and when I asked why they skipped past our number, I was told they didn't know but we'll be called "soon". Go elsewhere, literally anywhere else.

Online it says they close at 10pm. There was a sign at 8:45 pm that they were no longer taking patients. The lobby was pretty much empty. This is the nearest urgent care to my home and I don't think I ever seen anything like this. My daughter is very sick and with a bad cough and pink eye. The emergency room should be for life threatening cases. This is unacceptable on a weekend. They should just close at 9pm.
