Southern Pride Trucking

I have seen several of their trucks driving recklessly and blaring their air horns at other trucks/cars unnecessarily. Would not hire them for any of my shipping needs.

My husband is an owner operator for Southern Pride Trucking and has been there at least 12 years. It has been the best experience possible in trucking. Prior to this, we spent previous 10 years working for and with companies where we weren't able to make the money we need to make to succeed, no matter how hard he worked. This is a completely different situation. Southern pride has the work to support all of their contractors and if you want to work, the work is available and the pay is consistent and enough enough to actually run a business. That's all we want from a company is the ability to work hard to make a good living. There are no complaints whatsoever You have to stay on the road to make the money of course but that's not a downside. That's the nature of trucking. The difference is they will not leave you sit without a load, the loads pay a good rate, and the office staff is very professional and very skilled at what they do. It's the best experience possible in this industry. If you are willing and able to work hard, you will be successful. That is a promise that all trucking companies make to drivers but very few keep. In fact, when we first contacted Southern Pride all those years ago, they didn't make any promises because they didn't even have to do that. Their reputation alone sold the job. This company definitely doesn't need a recruiter. The job sells itself and even if you just look at the fact that most of the drivers have been there at least 10 years, that really says it all This is the perspective of the wife of a driver but I know this is exactly what my husband would say if he were a person that would take the time to leave a review about anything. The experience at this company has been so positive for our whole family that I wanted to share this information. This is a company that deserves 10 stars out of five.
