Five Below

I visited Five Below earlier this evening, and they have a whole bunch of Sanrio toys! My younger sister will LOVE them! The young woman who checked us out was so kind, she was talking to my three year-old son and I, and he was laughing nonstop! I hope to see that young woman working when we come back next time!

I was in line to check out and this time there was a different man in the front checking out, he did not acknowledge me, or help me check out at all. I had to do it on my own. He saw me there, he looked at me and didnt say anything. I am aware 5-Below doesnt allow self-checkout, only assisted checkout- but I was not assisted. This 5-Below isnt very friendly.

Last time I checked it closes at 8 means the doors stays open and you are allowed to enter the store until 8. Not letting people in ten minutes til. Is ridiculous. A sale is a sale.

It's their first week open so they have kinks to work out. They didn't seem to have nearly enough staff. I only saw the one person and that was at checkout but even then she was extremely helpful! The website said they had things in stock that weren't on the floor that I was specifically looking for at this location but since it's the first week open, they advised it wasn't stocked yet. The store didn't quite seem ready to open yet since there were things not stocked, holes in the shelving and a whole area closed off. Hopefully it'll be better in a month! Also it's self checkout with an employee watching you checkout. With the volume of items here, self checkout doesn't seem practical. Especially since that shopping mall has high theft problems already.
