Wonderful place. I saw it in movies, photos and magazines until I was there and it was magical.

Park Gompers is straight bonkers. They kicked the homeless person out of the restroom facilities so you won't get harassed while you're in there. You can play sports if you want. Or perhaps do yoga with the local chapter of yoga people. They meet several times at the park to stretch and pose. Now accepting all skill levels. On the other hand, the landscaping team works for the city. I wonder how much gas they use in the equipment. Those mowers aren't solar powered! Restrooms: The bad news: they could be cleaner. The good news: they can't get much dirtier. The smell is pungent and deleterious to your health. I'd go at home before heading to the park. Dog-friendliness: Dog people never clean up after their pets. It makes some areas of the park rather hazardous. Picnic area: Stay away from the dog areas.
