Incredibly good communication and prep leading up to tour. Made visiting Valle de Guadalupe Mexico a breeze with all transportation in nice sprinter van. Chris was our guide and a knowledge powerhouse of the region who knew everyone/thing. For anyone concerned about safety in this part of Mexico -fear not. This area is so low key and romantic and chill. Zero drama or issues, even crossing back and forth at border. Just follow simple rules that BTK explains and youll be good to go. 3 excellent wineries. If you like wines at Vina Frannnes, first stop, buy them! We didnt because we had 2 more wineries and we regret it as these were our favs and they dont ship to US. BTKs picks were well researched and first rate on all stops and lunch. Very well run and personable tour. Dare I say perfect.

As good as it gets! I really enjoyed the experience, not only for the places we visited, but the company. Chris is a great guide!

Magic happens in unexpected places. For us, it happened in Mexico with Baha Test Kitchens. Upon arriving at the border, we were greeted by our knowledgable guide Chris Mejia for our two-day private culinary tour of Ensenada. In that time, we visited large, small and medium scale makers, each of whom regaled us with origin stories, behind the scenes tours and delicious tastings. Previously unknown to us, this region of Mexico creates a large variety of wines, many of which are sourced by sommeliers at world-class restaurants like French Laundry and Pujol. As we tasted and learned, we were surrounded by the vast beauty of the dessert where "tortured vines make the best wines". Each day also came with plenty memorable meals, all of which we shared together with our guide, Chris. At the end of the two days we were escorted back to the border and crossed into the USA without any issue. It was a surprising, delicious, educational and surreal experience filled with great food, great wine and good company. We would recommend Baha Test Kitchens to anyone with a sense of adventure who loves food/wine and wants to discover the culinary magic of Baha, Mexico.

We did a taco tour and a wine tour. The food, wine, and experience were fantastic. We were looking for someone to guide us from border crossing, what food where, and what wine where, and get us back. Our guide hit on all of these and had everything ready to go. Also, we got wonderful history and stories regarding the region. We took a couple of side visits that made the trip feel very unique and special. The real value of this is that these guides allow you to effectively see this region like you have been coming for years. Recommend highly.

We did a one day taco tour with Chris and the following day did the wine tour - we absolutely loved both days! It was easy to get to the border from our hotel in San Diego to the outlet mall where the meeting point is (a short Uber ride) and we drove over to Mexico with Chris without even needing to exit the car. The tacos in Ensenada were superb. The drive to Ensenada was on the coastal route and so lovely. We booked our own accommodation nearby and Chris dropped us off after tour 1 and collected us on tour 2 - everything was seamless thanks to no doubt lots of organising behind the scenes on Chriss part, which were extremely grateful for! The wineries we visited were beautiful and the wines unexpectedly delicious (we managed to bring 2 bottles back to the uk which were saving for a special occasion!). We now want to return to Baja and do more exploring. I highly recommend the tour - its worth the cost for the safety, fun and experience youre getting!
