Terrible service. They keep canceling or appointments. It tax person was pandit painfully slow and had no clue what she was doing. Also very expensive, did not get an accurate quote upfront.

I am really sad with the fact I have to write this review. I really hoped things would turn around, but I was completely ghosted by my tax pro Marie Webber for over a month. I was supposed to be getting help with an amended return that I wanted done before tax season ended. I promptly send her all the documents she requested then I waited a week and messaged and called the office multiple times and was told she would reach out to me and she never did. I tried making an appointment with someone else and my appointment was cancelled due to a family emergency. I understand it is the busy season for taxes but I originally reached out at the end of February. I feel really frustrated about the whole ordeal and confused where the disconnect happened. I would understand if her client load was full, but why not just tell me that and transfer my things over to someone else at the location? Overall very upset with the lack of communication.

My five star review is directly related to the tax preparation professionals at the 1060 University Ave. office. Knowledgeable, personable, focused, grounded, attention to detail. Most importantly, we interacted like neighbors. This visit to H&R Block was my best yet. Very much appreciate the peace of mind following my tax preparation by the H&R Block office in Hillcrest!
